Heraklion International Airport (HER) is 78 km the nearest airport and approximately one hour drive from Blue Palace Resort & Spa. Our dedicated Ultimate Guest Service team will be delighted to assist you in arranging a private Mercedes taxi transfer from the airport to the Resort.

Air Transportation

Heraklion is connected with Athens (flight time duration 40 min) with 10 - 12 flights daily and throughout the year. Flights depart as early as 06.50 a.m. from Athens, and as late as 11.00 p.m. from Heraklion. Aegean Airlines (a Star Alliance Member), Olympic Air, offer daily scheduled flights from Athens to Heraklion. There are direct flights to Crete from and to major European airports.

Aegean Airlines will be operating non-stop flights between Heraklion and Paris, Moscow, Brussels and Larnaca in the summer timetable of 2012. Vueling will be operating non-stop flights between Heraklion and Barcelona while other airlines like EasyJet or Airberlin will be offering flights connecting Heraklion with Rome, Milan, Geneva, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart just to name a few.
